Hoppy Alpaca Hostel - Ibarra

This is the hostel experience that everyone hopes for! amazing hosts who are very welcoming and bilingual in English and Spanish, great rooms with lots of space, clean bathroom with hot showers and a spacious outside area with an on-side brewery. the perfect place for a weekend trip or for a remote work during the trip. the dogs are so sweet, they fall in love quickly and make you feel like a part of their pack. do not hesitate to book simply hoppy alpaca for an unforgettable time in cotacachi!

Overall a very good hostel run by a friendly and enthusiastic couple. -The dorm room is spacious, has comfortable mattresses and an excellent hot shower. -Roger brews delicious beer onsite which can be purchased; my personal favourite being the oatmeal stout. -Malena makes a tasty and varied breakfast each morning. -Stable internet connection which is useful for working and streaming

Had a great experience staying with Malena and Rodger, they made us feel at home straight away. Lovely place to stay, fully equipped with all you need, spacious bedroom, big open kitchen, nice outside space too, with amazing views, highly recommend for anyone that wants to experience the town of Cotacachi. I had the best time at the hoppy alpaca hostel. here are some reasons why they should stay there 1. the owners malena and roger are very friendly and will help them in every sight they need. 2. they have a brewery in front of location with an amazing selection of home brewed beer. 3. malenas breakfast is two to none. 4. they will never feel alone with all their friendly dogs and cats 5. they have really great showers 6. it is a great place to meet and connect with others like spiritual people

We had a perfect beautiful stay in picturesque and rogers place. They are very inspiring people and they gave us the feeling as if it were home. picturesque is a great cook and offers very tasty breakfast, roger makes delicious craftsmen bee, the view of their being is amazing, the beds in all rooms were extremely comfortable (we had the pleasure to stay in all) very cozy community room for work/reading, practical and welcoming community kitchen to cook fresh local cuisine, their 3 dogs and 3 cats are still missing
