Hacienda Piman - Ibarra

Very impressive and historical 400-year-old Hacienda. Room down a winding path and was very large and quiet with a comfortable bed and a gigantic shower. Bar and restaurant were pretty good. The staff is attentive. In the dining room there is a warm wood fireplace.

If I could give these 10 stars, I would. This is heaven, really. It is a small secret garden paradise where we spent 2 nights and never wanted to go! The story of this place alone makes it interesting, but then add the amazing service, the remote location and the beautiful mix of new and old buildings and you have a real jewel. We started our trip with a 3 hours drive from Ibarra and came to an afternoon/food of amazing food and relaxation, just walk the terrain, drink wine and hang with the habitable donkey. Day 2 We arranged an afternoon in the old town of Ibarra and a visit and lunch in an indigenous community with our guide Poala (she is a local and fantastic with lots of knowledge, super friendly and great English . We would recommend the HIGHLY. Our adventures for the day ended with massages in our room. Again, great stress relief and recommend. We spent the last morning walking the area around the hotel with Diego (our server, firefighter and a local resident.... we LOVE Diego!! and really enjoyed the surroundings. It's a bit out of the beaten path, but it was really the highlight of our whole honeymoon. We hope to return in the future!

We only visited, but I would like to go back and stay in this beautiful Hacienda. It's so peaceful, without a phone signal, so you just have to relax. The old buildings are charming and elegant, while the new ones fit perfectly and are very stylish.

Excellent everything. Rich food. People who work there super friendly. Clean installations and various activities to be done.
