London House - Ibagué

Who doesn't like Ibagué? But still, sometimes you would rather do as if you were somewhere else, and this place makes a good job, both food and drinks. And if you stick to their versions of English beer instead of actual imports, you can enjoy cheap Ibagué prices. If you're alone, you can enjoy the posters on the wall for a while.

I went to the London house because I heard they had good food and a good selection of beer. The selection of beer is not so great and the service reminds me of the old sayings about a snake oil seller. Our waiter proposed a beer on the menu and we took his advice. It was as 22,000. When we went to pay, the bill was for 40,000. When I asked about the difference, they said that the 22,000 was the small bottle and the ones we received were 40,000. Not only was the option not listed on the menu, only the 22,000, but our waiter never mentioned anything about there being an option. There was no excuse. I know the service industry and know this type of fraud. It is similar if you ask for a drink from a bar and they make it with the top shelf instead of good, then when you ask that they say you do not specify. Not a fan of places that allow this type of service to take place and it says a lot about the facility. I'm not back.

I was here twice. The first time it enjoyed, but the second time was a bit down. They serve London Pride for the design, but the second time I went, they didn't have to drink Club Colombia. I am from England and it would be nice to have a better selection of English ales. They do not have many on design and the prices of decent beers are the same price as in England. The live music was great when I left, but a couple of staff tortured themselves to give me and my partner a place at a table that was free, I think one of them saved it for a friend and they told us to move to the back, the table was free and that made a bit of confusion and made the atmosphere a little unpleasant afterwards. The food was also not great, but maybe it was just the attitude of the staff who left an acidic taste in my mouth! Most employees are friendly and nice, although they don't speak English, so don't expect a real authentic London pub, but the music is better than most places. To improve, I would say they need more variety of English ales and reduce prices, as they are the same prices as a drink in England.

The best pub in town, after a lot more try. Service is professional and nice, recommended 100%!!!
