Cabana's Chrysalis - Ibadan
Cabana's Chrysalis
Description
Stylish interiors and cabana-style seating create a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere complemented by attentive staff and generally short waits. Food is uneven: fried rice and chicken hit the mark while jollof tasted stale and coleslaw felt skimpy; portion sizes and menu-to-system pricing discrepancies raise value concerns. A welcoming spot for casual dining and atmosphere-seekers, but expect inconsistent dishes and occasional pricing issues.

Chrysallis Cabanas is a fantastic spot to relax. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is very courteous. Their smoothies are absolutely amazing! I used to love the mango smoothie, but unfortunately, they haven't had it available lately. If you visit, make sure to ask for it first. If they don't have it, definitely try the strawberry smoothie. If that’s not available either, then give the piña colada a shot—I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right, but we're not in an English class, so let's move on! It's really good too. I'm not a big fan of their Chapman; while it's good, I personally prefer more exotic options. As for the chicken, it's a bit on the dry side, so I recommend going for the fish instead. Sometimes, I just enjoy sitting outside and soaking in the cool breeze. It’s a lovely place to be, and the best way to find out is to visit for yourself!
Calm ambience and a relatively good customer service. A nice place for a date night. Their prices are decent.
I’ve been to cabana’s chrysalis on the first floor of the ventura mall countless times. Each visit comes with beautiful pictures of both the food and the serenity. My favorite is the extension at the back, they also have very affordable monktails.
The set up of Cabana's chrysalis was quite nice and the waitress that attend to me was very pleasant. However, I did find it a bit off-putting that the prices in the menu didn't correlate with the prices in their system. Overall, it was a rather pleasant experience and you don't have to wait too long to get your food
After driving round Bodija for an hour on a Friday night, looking for a place that isn't drowned in loud music, I casually went to Ventura mall and bam! I stumbled on Chrysalis, lovely interior (although there was food dirt underneath the table I sat, apparently they didn't clean up after the last person). They also have a back extension that was even more amazing, I ended up sitting at that back exterior for almost two hours. Lovely atmosphere. I had the orange chicken which was really nice, except that the orange sauce was a little too strong for me, but it was pretty nice to eat anyhow.
