Frankly Burgers - Iaşi

More than i expected, was very impressed. definitely going to eat there again when I am back in Iasi

We arrived there by chance and decided to go for the '2 burgers and soup' menu. We ordered one medium and one rare burgers. The meat was good, the topings also, except maybe the ketchup that was in excess and of poor quality. The soup was also ok. The best experience were the people working there. Courteous and helpful. Would go again if and when in Palas Mall.

I came to Frankly with high expectations for a great burger; the feeling after was mixed - disappointed because the burger did not met the requirements to be really great and the fact that was not very complicated to have been better.The bun, as other said it was unimpressive, bland taste; the carrots puree was nice; overall the burger needed more sauce or flavor.The meat was only the best part, very nicely cooked medium with great taste.The vegetables - again the mix or quality was disappointing, the grilled pepper was not actually fresh and had a taste like bought from the shop with a tent of vinegar, so really a bad idea to put something like pickled veggies in a burger.The aioli, well, was not aioli, at least I couldn't taste the garlic at all, it was a kind of mayonnaise which I didn't enjoy at all.Overall, the burger required a bit of a hit of spices, either sauce or flavor to make it great, the puree helped a bit but was not enough.The potato wedgies were ok but again, with no real taste, good but it was pitty the flavor was missing; I would have added some spices like garlic, cheese, chilli etc for some hit of flavor.The good part was the bubblegum smoothie, I would come back as only for that. The lemonade is ok too.With a bit of work the burgers and potatoes could be a lot better.

For a foodcourt burger joint in a mall its great!The chickpea with ginger soup felt a bit watery, a bit bland and lacking flavour, not something memorable but not bad.Wedges were not great but went very well with the caesar salad dressing I ordered for a broccoli and red cabbage slaw.The burgers were cooked pretty nice medium-rare was closer to medium-well and the medium was closer to well done but thats expected in Romania where people eat the meat charred most of the time. Patties were a bit small but ok for the price, quite tasty. Buns were good but lacking flavour and maybe sweetness. Veg was good and just right, sauces were lacking entirely if not for some ketchup, could've used more myself tbh.Overall 8/10 - I recommend if in need of a good burger.

What a good place to grab an authentic burger in a mall! I don't qualify those at McDonalds or Burger King as "burgers". Here we have a tasty, real beef/ chicken patty and awesome veggies in one home made, AMAZING home made bun! I was quite fond of that parmesan crisp that came along with my Mr. Rucola! Frankly, i would love you to come to Cluj! :)
