This is a fantastic restaurant that's a bit difficult to find and doesn't have much curb appeal. However, it's definitely worth the effort to locate. The food is outstanding, and you can enjoy a stunning view of the Solent. I highly recommend trying the wild mushroom bruschetta and the boiled fish plate. View all feedback.
Large menu, efficient, friendly staff, great menu had the hard fish delish! Beyond that they sat on the terrace, over which search for solent waters saw the ships sail past. perfect evening.
Was in hythe for the evening so decide to go to seashells , have been many times before , but first time for evening meal . It was very very busy but was able to get a table . It was my husbands first visit had raved about it to him in the passed .our order was taken an d starters came in about 15mins . We then waited for our mains , as I said it was very busy , but after waiting 1hour I was not happy as still waiting so called waiter over saying we had been waiting over 1hour , just then our main came out . He did apologise have a free drink on the house . The food was lovely will go again only when it's not so busy
Had a absolutely fab Xmas Meal here recently best value and menu in area in my opinion and didn't fail to deliver only gripe is the steak was served medium rather than medium rare but it was delicious and the Xmas pudding cheesecake very well executed!
It's a great restaurant. Food is great and if you get a table by the window the view is fabulous. Would definitely recommend.
