La Mandra - Hyères

This place is not what what it used to be like. There is no problem with the food, the food is delicious, but the service is quite poor. We waited quite a long time for out dinner. They need to employ more people and more chefs!

I had refrained from commenting on our last visit to this restaurant because the experience was catastrophic and it was a place that kept us in the heart and that we were thrilled with every exit. The "mistakes" come to all, from which my abstinence. I can't say my discontent! We called Sunday 7/10 at the beginning of the afternoon for a reservation the same evening, the lady takes note for 7:30. So we move and arrived there, everything went away. We quickly understand that there is a problem. My spouse descends and sees an extinguished but erected room then we call, no one answers, we wait 10 minutes then we leave. We quickly find a restaurant, but I always decide to recall the explanations. 5 phone calls later, a lady answers and tells me that on Sunday it was closed I knew nothing else. Anyway. The next day, I call again to have someone nicer and to find out more. “Sunday we are closed” first excuse that is weird because we often go there on Sunday in general, and finally it is likely that it has changed. “The cook got hurt,” the second excuse, I wish him a good discovery, but it does not prevent customers from being prevented. "We had only 2 tables, we had warned the 8 people we had, but not the others" ah yes, we had noticed thank you! “I don’t know who took your reservation is closed on Sunday” the COMMUNICATION is still important. "We had no reservation to your name" in this case it is enough if we do not find the name to call the number or then put a word on the door, even if the displacement is made at least we are warned. One thing is certain, we will no longer put our feet back and we will no longer have the pleasure of advising the place. We are extremely disappointed, it was much better before!
