Off-late Chandrayangutta has become the hub of good Mandi in Hyderabad. After trying a few places we came across Real Arabian and decided to give it a shot. They offer seating inside tents which to an extent looks cool. Basically, there’s a large tent which is the men’s section and there are almost 8-9 separate tents for families and couples. During our visit, we ordered the Prawns Fry, Mix Mandi, Mutton Mandi, Chicken al-faham Mandi, Veg Mandi and for desserts we ordered Ummali. The prawns were a little too salty and definitely not to my liking. The Mandis’ were cook beautifully. The rice had the perfect taste of the spices and the juice from the meat. The Mix Mandi comes with Chicken Al-Faham, Prawns, Fish Fry, Mutton and Chicken on rice. Out of all the selections of meat in the Mix Mandi, the fish was to die for. It was fried perfectly and the spices used were tasting great. Coming to the Mutton and Chicken Mandi, the mutton was cooked to perfection and was tender enough. The chicken as well were grilled with perfect spices. Speaking about Veg Mandi, I felt it to be the same rice but with a topping of boiled and pan-seared vegetables. They did taste good however. Also, Ummali was something which needs to be improved. Personally, I’m a fan of Ummali and they’ve just ruined the concept of it already. Thus pulling down the rating. During peak times, you will end up waiting to be seated. Overall, my experience has been good and will surely visit again.

Best place for a arabian food in hyderabad to dine .we eat mutton mandi is so good. They giving a soup without any charges. And they also serving titter bitter in low cost.

Barkas is famous for Mandi restaurants.the fact that the road where the Mandi restaurants are located is called Mandi road is a great testimony to the fact.Out of the few really good options in this area,we chose to stop at real arabian dhaba.As the name suggests the setting is like that of a dhaba,a departure from the regular Mandi restaurants.The place is very spacious with separate 7 to 8 pavilions for families and a big tent for common dining.As the place is very spacious,there is good amount of air circulation,which saves one from the usual stink of the carpets that comes in a restaurant style mandis.Also there is lot of natural lighting coming in,which again is a huge welcome for a Mandi restaurant.We settled down to order mutton Mandi.As the place was almost empty when we visited on a week day lunch,the service was very prompt and we were served in flat 5 minutes.The soup which is served tasted good and so was the mandi.Easily the best Mandi I had.much better than the glorified places in hitech city and other up market places of Hyderabad.At Rs.600 we were served spl Mandi with sufficient rice for 3 persons and 5 mutton pieces.Worth an effort to travel to barkas for having mandis.

This is one of the best restaurants for arabian cuisine especially Mandi.very well maintained. Family section is good. Enjoyed a lot with friends and family
