Mandar - Hyderabad

Impromptu early dinner with dad. Dad's always been a fan of Mandar's mutton biryani. So, keeping that in mind we walked in on a weekday at around 8pm. Restaurant was empty and premises were kept neat, clean and tidy. AC was running on full blast and that provided much needed relief after a hot day. As soon as we were seated, the server walked right to us and handed the menu, ordered loose prawns, tandoori roti, tandoori chicken, mutton biryani and qubani ka meetha with ice cream. Couldn't click a lot of pictures as I was famished Serving time was impressive! Taste wise the prawns were absolutely wonderful with the right amount of crispiness and spice, tandoori chicken was okayish and green chutney provided with it was meh. Tandoori rotis didn't turn into papad and were soft for quite a bit. Mutton biryani hit the spot with ample mutton pieces, fragrant, firm, flavorful rice and spice was perfect. Qubani was a little too sweet but the ice cream balanced it out. Overall a good family restaurant for grabbing dinner during weekdays as I've seen Mandar get pretty packed during the weekends.

I went to Mandar because I heard her mutton biryani was good. we first ordered Chinese appetizers like huh 65, huh 555 and spicy boneless chicken. in Tandoori-Starter we mutton Suchh kebab, malai kebab, hariyali kebab and grilled huh. Finally we got the Mutton-Bryani and I have to say that the Mutton pieces have fallen from the bone. it was the tenderest piece of mutton I ever tasted in a biryani. the rice was aromatic and aromatic. the service was very fast and the food was hot. I recommend this place to eat with their friends and family.

Trust me You will be satisfied to some extend. Huge catering area. Biryani is delicious here.

Delicious flame and juicey mutton biryani i ever had. the taste of biryani is totally mouthwater, toouo yummmm. try as never before. once they visit, they will never stop visiting here again and again. must taste chicken mandi and the marag.

Excellent chicken biryani at the restaurant! typical hyderabadi biryani! only strange thing that I noticed is when you eat in restoration, they get good food, but when ordered for home delivery, they will end with mostly white rice in biryani: what is really sad, I noticed it 4 to 5 times! beautiful ambiente. good parking is bad.
