After hearing good things about this place I decided to try this for my birthday. Firstly we had to line up for about 10 minutes, but if you're willing to wait, it's all part of the experience. Once we were seated we noticed the dim lightning which was nice but the music was a little bit too loud to have a comfortable conversation in a group. The loud music is the only thing I would criticise. The food is everything... View all feedback.
50SIXONE never disappoints for that Amazing decadent shake! But you may not know it does great coffee and small snacks too. I love the shady,0 doggo friendly outdoor area and as the weather heats up, I'd recommend you try the delicious gelato on offer. Drop in soon for a quick bite you will get friendly service with a smile even if you just get a coffee
I've never had a bad brunch before.. until now. Decided to give in to the hype and try it out one morning, instant regret. First of all, the wait for a table was about 30 minutes, when there were some empty spots available.. no sign of being reserved so I'm not sure why they weren't offered. Once we got a table and ordered, the wait was another 30 minutes. We were given a bottle of table water, but the glasses came out 10 minutes later. When the food came out, I have to say it looked amazing. However, it turned out to be the most bland and tasteless meal I've had for a long time. I don't ever add salt and pepper to my food, but make the food more palatable, I kept coming back to the salt and pepper shakers. I am quite disappointed in the service and quality of food here after being really excited to try this place out. But it is what it is, just a hype. I don't think I'll be back.

They even offer delicious vegan dessert options.
We went for lunch on a Saturday and only waited 15 mins for a seat (which was overlooking the diners in the adjoining restaurant so that was a bit awkward.... get some screening!!). We had the Oreo Milkshake (45min wait) and savory waffles (20mins).. The milkshake was not as sweet or sickly as I anticipated, and enjoyed it! The waffles were fine but needed some sort of sauce on the dish. Lots to choose from on the menu and it's not all sweet though the milkshakes are the star attraction here and you can expect a wait and for your food to be delivered well before the shake. Would I go back? Yes but I don't think I would queue for any length of time (have heard of 1 hour waits for a seat).
Tried this place for a weekday lunch after too much hype from friends and social media. Great spot in a well established food and boutique stretch. The decor and position was good, however there were a lot of similarities in terms of structure with the neighbors especially when you sit outside. A little thought process into the walls would have erased this. The menu is a typical dessert bar menu, yes there were a few food items but the sweetness from the sugar was just too much. It would not have been the case if the menus were separate. Ordered a variety of each... The shakes were good, right quantity and well presented. The food menu had great ingredients and the importance to the local produce was good. The presentation was flawless and it was great to see. But it was not evenly balanced to the taste as there were a little compromise on the cooking techniques of some dishes. The toast was a little too crispy this normally happens due to the quality of bread you source, there was something missing. The dessert was just fantastic, you guys have put in a lot of thoughts in architect-ing the plate. Also noticed that a few plates were not finished, as the quantities or the elements in the plate was much. These are for people who are sharing, it would have been great if you guys had two sizes for the desserts. Sides were basic selections which is very good. The fries needs attention guess you need to upgrade the quality you source as it was not the kind of taste you expect when you have such great plated food on the table. Overall this place is a joint to have an experience, I will surely visit when I get the time... FINAL VERDICT - SUGAR RUSH
