KFC - Hyannis
KFC
Description
At this KFC experiences vary wildly: complaints cite bready, undersized chicken, shrinking portions, and dwindling original-recipe quality alongside frequent stockouts, while others praise crunchy coleslaw and surprisingly tasty late-night Taco Bell substitutions. Service swings from upbeat, energetic crew who salvage orders to tense, unprofessional staff interactions that make guests uncomfortable. With drive-through and delivery available, it's a convenient late-night option — but inconsistent inventory and staffing make it unreliable for those seeking steady quality.

I have to share the amazing experience I had at KFC. I know it might sound surprising—KFC, incredible? But here’s what happened: I waited in the drive-through for a few minutes because the person ahead of me was asking a million questions. Eventually, they moved on, and it was my turn to order my usual items. Unfortunately, they didn’t have them since it was late at night. The girl on the microphone kindly offered some alternatives and mentioned that all they really had left was Taco Bell. Although it’s not my favorite, she assured me it was going to be very good. When I finally got my beefy burrito and took my first bite, I was genuinely impressed. It was around 11 p.m., and she was friendly, energetic, and engaging, which definitely made me want to come back. Thanks, KFC and Taco Bell!
I was expecting fresh chicken, but it was mostly just breading. I probably should have noticed something was wrong since I was the first customer of the day. I won’t be returning! When did the portions get so small? I paid $13.50 for a wing, a thigh, and a leg, with barely 2 ounces of coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The biscuit was also ridiculously tiny!
The original recipe has definitely declined in quality. The only thing I enjoyed was the coleslaw, which I might consider ordering as a side by itself. I won’t be ordering the chicken again.
We stopped by this restaurant on our way home from a wedding, and it was an uncomfortable experience. The staff seemed to be really unhappy, which created a tense atmosphere as they yelled at each other and slammed doors and chairs. Even the manager appeared to be on edge. I understand that life can be challenging for many, but their behavior made me feel unsafe.
