What evan Spencer doesn't like about Beach Plum At Cape Codder Resort:
This is just an over all review of my opinion. We arrived last Friday and get to our room. We were in room 136, the rugs were damp and so were the sheets and there was black mold on the ac. This is just an over all review of my opinion. We arrived last Friday and get to our room. We were in room 136, the rugs were damp and so were the sheets and there was black mold on the ac. We took a picture of it and we were told that they would cover the entire weekend and moved us to room 621. Early that night they acknowledged that they didn’t know they had a mold problem but the new room you move me in has a dehumidifier running right by the door. Later on that evening our friends arrive for the wedding and you put them in the same room we were just in just covered in bleach. Room 136. We told them about it and they felt grossed out. I hope that we get reimbursed. We had two little babies with us.
I spent 300 dollars a night for a room that had a balcony but faced the parking lot. When I booked it it said it had a fireplace but didn 't. The rooms, for the price, were run down. The front desk staff were lovely. The outdoor pool was AMAZING and very clean. Most of the employees that were lifeguards looked miserable. If you are calling it a ' resort it wouldn 't be horrible to offer free coffee, cucumber water or even cookies when checking in. Some rooms on the weekends are 4 -500$ a night. Unexceptable!!!
Very bad experiences , this hotel is not honest Hotel and only care about money, not the customers. they did a big mistake when I did a check in charged me my booking twice then refund me after went to the manager then after two day from my checkout they charged me 334 USD For resort fee ????? I didn’t see any fees or anyone told me there’s a fees will charge when I arrived , it’s they surprised me after two days from the checkout. And the room was very dirty and very old .

Also looks like they have pre Covid staff levels which is nice to see.
I rarely leave reviews but I felt the need to for others health and safety. We were 2 families traveling for Labor Day- we are local and have been here before (pre Covid). Because they are under new management we were optimistic that improvements have been made. Nope.Pros:-The young lady working at the outside restaurant was lovely. She was attentive and hardworking and very pleasant!-The lazy River was fun for kids of all ages-Hearth And Kettle never disappointsCons--our bedroom smelled of mold and mildew upon entering. The room itself was filthy. There was black mold on the curtains, the lamp shade.-everything is outdated but could all be cleaned and made to look better-we went to request a different room and the young lady did not seem surprised when we asked for a room change but apologized as the place was fully bookedMy son has asthma and allergies. We would have left had it not been a group trip with friends. It was such a huge disappointment. My son woke up this morning with swollen eyes, runny nose itchy skin, and coughing. We couldn’t even stay and enjoy the day because he felt so icky.Huge disappointment on our last weekend of summer. Way too much money for those conditions.Rooms: Filth, black mold, smelled of mold and mildew, paint chipping, rustingSafety: The room across from us was open all day and unattended. Persons belongings there. Had to notify security as it was concerning
