A bit spicy for my taste buds, but so good I ate everything! Got the combo with chicken curry and potato and spinach curry, with the BEST fresh made flat bread! Yum! View all feedback.
We enjoyed the chicken curry, chana masala, samosas, and parathas. Everything was a bit too spicy for my taste, but the flavors were fantastic.
My mom and I came in and got the chicken and lamb cure. The chicken cure was really good, but she said the lamb was chewing. The chicken curry had great taste and was beautiful and spicy. We also have samosas and flat bread and both were very good. Hopefully they will be able to expand and rent more people because some people waited for 35 minutes and were frustrated due to the lack of workers. I also hope they will expand their menu. Overall is really good food for only about 6 months.
This place is a diamond in the rough, her curry is amazing, it is a must try! Once you try, you will be hooked. Also, you should definitely try their Parathas bread, it is the most delicious soft and flakey thing you ever eat, and its sweet buttery taste fits perfectly with their curry. Don't write this place because he's in a gas station, it's worth your time!
The best curry I've had in a long time! This is truly the best way to experience central Kansas. The owners are welcoming and attentive. Don't miss out—it's absolutely delicious!
My fiancee and I have lived in LA, Boston and NYC and have eaten at some very good Indian restaurants. If we were in the city, we wouldn 't think twice about eating at a restaurant inside a gas station, but when we are in rural Kansas, it always gives us pause. I joke with city friends that everyone in rural Kansas eats dinner at the gas station, referring to the popular heat-lamped fried chicken kinda of place with two-year-old warm ranch dressing and a Wednesday taquito special with free chili and cheese plooped out from a little machine. THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT THAT KIND OF PLACE. READ ON!!! Tucked into an unassuming gas station across from a Family Dollar, Hutchinson residents can eat possibly the best Indian food between The Mississippi and the Rockies. A simple menu of traditional Indian fare, the dishes are flavorful, pleasantly spicy and you won 't pay the price the next day (if you get my drift). We shared the Veggie Curry and the Chicken Curry with rice, two mango Lasi 's an order of Samosas and two Parathas. It came out to about $32. Before balking at that number, we will spend $50+ at Olive garden and that food isn 't half as good as this. And there was enough of both curry 's for leftovers. I was particularly hungry and ate more than I should have. Bottom line, the portions are sizeable. Everything we ate was delicious. The curry 's were robust and flavorful and clean. I could tell they were made with care and attention. These are not from a can or jar! Some reviews mention the spice. Honestly, zip it. Every restaurant in KS under flavors everything. It 's not too spicy, you 're just used to eating dull, uninspired foods. It was warm, but it was a clean spice spicy. A natural heat and it was awesome. The owners are friendly and the service came with a smile and a polite chat. The seating and athmosphere might turn some people off, but I like the simple, no-frills table and chair set up. Don 't let the simplicity underwhelm you. What they can make behind that little faux-brick wall willl amaze you. Don 't settle for fast food. Jump off the highway. It 's absolutely worth it. Hope the people in Hutch appreciate what they have!
