Not sure which coffee beans they are using now, but back then it just tasted like burnt coffee, roughly bitter. The fish shape Japanese waffle or taiyaki was soggy, and they didn’t have the soft serve like now. So immediately after two occasions I stopped coming here. It took Otsu a long while to hit the right spot. They introduced new items in the menu, like fresh juice, açai, toast and eggs, etc. But most importantly, the soft serve ice cream machine; the cold drinks (milk shakes frappes); shave ice bowl, and the immense improvement on the taiyaki.
