Chips salsa are amazing! But the Chile relleno plate was to die for, definitely recommend this place will be returning. The service was very attentive polite as well. Prices portions are extremely fair. View all feedback.
We arrived at 7:30, and the staff made us feel welcome without rushing us, even though they close at 8. The chips and salsa were fantastic. However, I found the queso to have a strange consistency, almost as if it were a powder mixed with water or something similar.
Pulido's in Hurst is a wonderful homey place that gives me fond memories of my husband's grandparents, who used to bring us here often. Our waiter, Robert, provided exceptional service. Additionally, the Mexican cola was deliciously cold and refreshing.
I really enjoy the food and the prices! It's convenient to get in and out. We always order the combo fajitas!
I do find their dinner menu a bit on the pricey side, especially considering that the ingredients for Tex-Mex are among the cheapest available at grocery stores. The dishes are often saturated with spices and other flavorings to mask the quality of the ingredients, which is typical for this type of cuisine. However, if you can overlook the lard and lower-quality meats commonly used in Tex-Mex cooking, this restaurant is just as good as the others. I would definitely recommend it for family dining, and I’m sure I’ll return in the future. Although I don't drink, I've heard they sell beer there as well.
I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite Mexican restaurant. The salsa is fantastic!
