What Lorretta Summers doesn't like about Country Inn Steak Seafood:
First time here. The bathrooms are at the entrance, being the first thing you pass smell walking in. Our surf turf wasn't hot, it was more like room temperature. The coleslaw was pretty good though. The chicken fried steak was not good, the breading on it was what ruined it. It was spongy like a pancake mix. Service was extremely slow including a drink refill. Getting the check took a while. I LOVE this place! It's a drive but the food has always been delicious and I've never left there hungry or unhappy thumbs up in my book.
Reasonable price good portions and good quality food. And the waitress was super nice
My chicken fried steak was very good. I read a review that a half order was large enough for most people. It definitely was. The mashed potatoes and Cole slaw were also good. The appetizer sampler was good, but nothing special.
The food is always wonderful! The staff is delightful and greets you with respect and shows you that they're glad you stopped by!
The service is pretty good but the food not so much. I got a steak which was extremely chewy. Reminded me of cafeteria food be honest won't be returning unfortunately
