when your food comes to your table, it's already cold. I understand that they don't want people to stay long, but if the windows are foggy on the inside, it's way too cold to enjoy their eating. too cold to enjoy the friends or family they met to have a meal. Food: 4/5 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Waffle House:
I didn't receive my sausage until I had almost finished my meal, taking just four bites. The server needed to ask for it three times. The toast was poorly baked; it had a dry, undercooked spot in the center, and I suspect it was margarine used instead of butter. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5. View all feedback.

August 17th went to lunch with my daughter at 2:30 pm walked in the door and sat down and waited. Staff did not speak a word and we waited and waited there was only one other person in the restaurant no reason to ignore us. I would have given no stars if I had the option, customer service was awful.
This place is filthy! We walked in and it was practically empty so we had our pick of booths. The first one we went to had not been clean. There was crumbs on the table and inside the booth. We moved on to the next booth and noticed two roaches, one crawling on the booth and the other one crawling on the table. That was the last straw, we left!
Came in 3, 19 22. Malene, or Marline, not sure about the spelling, was the supervisor. We were texted out order was ready , and it was not. Accidents, happen, of course, I understand that, today's economy, everyone is short shaft in this industry, but there is a way to handle such incidents. She told the staff that I would have to wait on everyone else's food on the line, another 30 min. Not ok. There is always a way to make it right, hurry things along 8f someone is waiting 45 us min. Not that person's fault it's the staffs fault and she wanted us. TO. Suffer after blaming one of her staff. Again, I understand better than most or a lot of people because I worked in this industry for years we own a business we serve drinks and food and if something goes wrong that's her top priority is to make sure we make that right ASAP just super disappointed my service has always been great in the past given they were slammed and very busy but I had to wait just like everybody else. Just asking for service just like I want to give anyone else
This is the best Waffle House in my hometown, and the best Waffle House I've ever been to. The panoramic view that Waffle Houses usually offer is of a busy highway, but our Waffle House backs up to the historic district of Huntsville, so you get a nice view of Victorian bungalows and lush trees. Besides the view, the food here is always great. Some Waffle Houses can be hit or miss: the bacon can be soggy, the waffles can be floppy but also overdone, the coffee is not so fresh, the floors are suspect: it's part of the fun of the Waffle House experience, I get it. But every time I've eaten at the Waffle House on Pratt Ave, I've always gotten perfectly fluffy waffles, smooth coffee, and crispy bacon. Seriously. I've lived here for going on 10 years and it's perfect every single time. This is also a good Waffle House to take your non-Waffle-House-baptized friends to, as it is always clean and tidy, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Our Waffle House is nestled in the shadow of Monte Sano, one of the little mountains that mark the beginning of the Appalachians. Every time we go camping on Monte Sano, we trundle down the mountain the next morning for well-deserved Waffle House. I don't know how it was possible, but Waffle House took it from 10/10 to 11/10 this morning. We were immediately seated at a clean booth in the corner, a woman was immediately pouring and refilling fresh coffee like it was her Great Commission from ****, and our food was somehow above perfect. Our waitress asked if we wanted cheesy eggs (heavenly and gave us a pickle and jam with our All-Star Special. (I didn't know the All-Star Special even offered these accoutrements?? And as I was sitting in the corner booth overlooking the little Victorian houses of my hometown, I truly felt content and happy. And all for about $10 a plate.
