This JD is much smaller than others which made the dining experience rushed. We felt the need to finish quickly because there were so many people coming in and there were not as many seats. The salad bar was stocked well and had all fresh items. Highly recommend the salad bar, I just wish they would come down in price. The Ruben was excellent as usual but the side of chips seemed stale.Overall the visit was pleasant wi... View all feedback.
What John Schlepperman doesn't like about Jason's Deli:
Pretty pricey for a deli. The salad bar is usually better but this trip it wasn't good because there wasn't many people there that night so some of the vegetables were getting soft and lettuce wilty sitting there so long. No excuse really. Still need to keep everything fresh. View all feedback.
The food is outstanding. The salad bar is famous in Huntsville for the great variety and quality of ingredients. The environment is fairly plain, with nice booths, but there is no particular atmosphere as such. A special aspect of the physical restaurant, however, is the lovely, covered outdoor eating area.Plus, everyone, regardless of purchase, can get as many free soft-serve ice cream cones as they can hold.
Highly disappointed. Haven't eaten at this location for sometime. Has been great in the past. I ordered a tuna melt with spinach, tomato, onion and peppers. They left off everything and didn't include a pickle because I bought a side. When I reported my findings, I wasn't offered a refund. Will spend my money elsewhere.
Have gone to Jason’s deli many times. It use to not cost as much as it does now but I don’t know if I can be mad because the food is so good. It is a lot but the servings are decent and I usually have some to take home. This trip we got two one trip salads, the California club with fruit, the Ruben with fruit, 2 drinks. Total cost was $50. They have a really good salad bar. I wish they would have chopped carrots instead of whole baby carrots though. This has become a place where we personally can only go for a special occasion. I love it, the atmosphere, but just not too crazy about the prices. Still I’ll be back on another special occasion. I’d totally recommend to anyone.
The food and service was excellent but I visited here on 03/09 for a birthday lunch. (Around 2pm) While I was eating there was an older woman working there with blondish hair and glasses that was treating her employees like garbage. I could hear it from my table. She was walking up to everyone and berating them like a drill sergeant. I asked the cashier if that was her manager and she said that she was a supervisor. That is honestly ridiculous to be so disrespectful and cruel to the employees. I understand making sure the restaurant is running properly, but that isn’t the way to do it. You shouldn’t speak to other grown adults in the way she was. Not to mention there was less than 10 people in there and she was acting like she was operating a spaceship or something. I would’ve understood if all her employees quit on the spot because of her behavior.Totally unacceptable.
I took a team of employees to lunch at Jason’s, it was my first visit. The food was so fresh and tasty. The service was also spectacular. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Salad bar and made to order optionsParking: Open parking in a retail lot.
