El Monte is my favorite Mexican Restaurant and they always have been since they first opened here. Grilled Chicken Nachos are my go to at any Mexican Restaurant but El Monte does them the best. There are many Mexican restaurants in Huntsville, but I wouldn't recommend this one. The Chile relleno had an unusual texture and was lacking in flavor. I left feeling hungry, although our server was friendly. View all feedback.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. It was my son's birthday so he got some cool whip smashed in his face.
Excellent service. There were 12 in our party and the waitress did not make one mistake. The food was pretty good
