Had the grilled salmon with red beans and rice with country green beans. the salmon was great, the red beans and ricenwas deceiving. If you are expecting a New Orleans style, it's not. The only seasoning they had was my least favorite(salt). Green beans were reminiscent of my Grandmothers when she used to cook them with some pork. Looks are deceiving. Food looks great right? It wasn't. It was cold, the waiter was rude, and the toast was rock hard and cold also. Would not replace the plate only reheat it which took all the flavor out of it. The table was filthy and was not cleaned before sitting me. The broccoli casserole was good though. View all feedback.
RACIAL PROFILING AGAINST WHITE FAMILIEs! My family enjoyed Cheddars because they came to Huntsville. Unfortunately, management has changed and has lost interest in actually managing their employees to make a better experience for their customers. He showed exactly how he wants his employees to treat white people. That was the worst experience we ever had in every restaurant, EVER. I have traveled the world and eaten in several restaurants, so I don't say that easily. Our experience began with a very polite young lady who tried to be helpful. She went to talk to the servers to make sure they were all right to take additional tables that we understood by all low personnel companies. But her employee came and started what would become the most terrible experience we had. At the beginning, while the other girl checked, she came and told us it would be at least 15 minutes for a table. When the other girl came back and said that the table was ready, the employee was annoyed that she had to put us. When we thank her for her help with us, she said whatever and went away. That was the first point we should go, but we didn't want 1 person to ruin our evening. Unfortunately, it just got worse. The rude worker who sat on us then stood at our table and spoke loud to another employee while on their phone, when customers came in. (I have photos When we sat, we noticed that tables with white people (there were 3, which we could see directly, were not recognized while all black families (there were 4, which we could see were visited immediately. That was our table, of course. All the time we were there, we saw how they treated black families compared to white families. The manager went to any black family table to make sure their experience went well, but not to check for even 1 white family. Every table with white families had to wait on average 20 minutes longer than black family tables. We took it! We have photos and videos to prove that. Not only that, but the manager and the employees were standing around and had very loud conversations that had absolutely nothing to do with the business. We know because we could hear everything they said, like the rest of the restaurant customers. We waited an hour for our food just to get it cold. When we asked about the manager who stood near the fish tank, he went away and never came to us. We paid our bill and left. I never come back to this restaurant as long as the staff are still there. I'm going to take pictures of managers and problem personnel that made our experience so terrible.
We had absolutely terrible service! We sat at the bar and two people sat next to us. They had their steak dinner before we even had salads. We had to ask for our limes after 10 minutes. When my salad arrived and disgusted, that was the last straw. I asked for a man, and after a few minutes waiting, we left. Never again!
I sat at the bar. Very good food ( chicken fried w/ maische perpetrator/Grossmais). The hot fudge chocolate cake Sundae was amazing!
Well, I loved Cheddars in Rockford IL and wept when they closed. I saw it here one and I so excited!!! Much to my surprise service and food were slow and our order was wrong. We seldom ordered the Steak medium and mine was a little burned (not carved) on one side and hardly a flame kissed on the other side. It was also chewing and dry. My mothers were still blue inside. You do not have the double-baked potato on the menu. The broccoli and cheese casserole were only cheese and broccoli. It really had to cook a little longer to develop taste. My mother also ordered her steak with coconut yarns and they brought out sharp grilled shrimps. The ribs I ordered with my steak were delicious, so I recommend that. We ordered the strawberry sweetheart to take the glass home and no mention to flush it out or even take us a bag for everyone home. I didn't get my salad either. It was a great silence for me. We're not going back. Compare the price for food and service (sat for 15min, before the waiter came to negotiate our drinks orders and say hi) we received it just too much for the 1.5 hours drive there.
Where do I begin? from the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with negative service. In the spirit of second chances, we decided to order food? that was a mistake. Ordered a steak ?medium? and came out very rare and cold. I tried a side of broccoli casserole and immediately felt sick. The food was rotten, expired, and disgusting! Our server was untrained and rude. He served our salads with his thumb in the dressing, and he used his hands to squeeze the lemon in my water. Who does this? A health inspector needs to visit here and escalate this situation.
