If i could leave less then one star I would have, but only one is available so lets set the stage for this failure. I decided to give this Subway another chance, decided to greet myself a Subway Steak melt (why I'm including this will become evident later). I know it’s not a big deal but they made the wrong sandwich and didn’t even ask what kind of sandwich i was wanting
The restaurant really needs to hire more staff! We waited over an hour, despite only having two people ahead of us, and then it took another 20 minutes for her to make our sandwiches because she was quite slow. I gave it 3 stars because she was friendly.
The subway in Huntington is decent, and the employee working today was excellent.
I placed an order online for a spicy Italian sandwich, but they prepared it without any meat—just veggies.
Things went downhill from there. When it came time to assemble my sandwich, the toppings were added, and then I attempted to fold it. Unfortunately, about 30-40% of the meat spilled out the sides. I thought no big deal, the staff could put the meat back in. But after tearing the sandwich in half by hand (and consequently losing a lot of the filling), I tried to roll it up again, only to have it carelessly stuffed into a bag before being toasted. I ended up paying nearly $10 for what felt like a $3 sandwich—a total waste of money.
