Parea, That Little Greek Place

The best option for Greek food on Long Island. If you remember Mediterranean Snack Bar in Huntington, which closed in December 2017, it's back with Steve's recipes. It's amazing. You won't be disappointed.

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and it was fantastic! The Greek salad was fresh and the dressing had the perfect balance of vinegar, seasoning, and oil. We also ordered pasticcio, which was absolutely perfect. The bechamel was just right, not overpowering. The meat was seasoned perfectly and not dry or oily. None of the dishes we ordered were overly fatty or oily. I was thrilled to find such high-quality Greek food. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo before we started eating!

The food here is fantastic! I tried the octopus and it was amazing. It's difficult to find good octopus, but you can find it at this restaurant. The service is top-notch and the place is very clean. Highly recommend! ??????

Went there several weeks ago to see Jim Breur live The Paramount this place was terrific! Authentic Greek food, warm atmosphere, super fast stupendous service! They went above beyond to meet our time constraints made us feel so welcome. Definetly be back on our next trip to Huntington!

Previously, the Mediterranean snack bar..now Parea...samer Koch...the best Greek cuisine that our family ever had. have been returned for fresh fish. baked mush. heidaki and the absolutely best spinat cake for more than 20 years.
