The food was good after they fixed my order. My first steak that came out was well done and I asked for rare. When the second steak came, it was rare cooked, but still cold in the middle. The waitress was very polite and courteous. View all feedback.
What S doesn't like about Bob Evans:
The only dish I love is the honey chicken dinner. Both me and friend ordered it. Chicken was a little tough this time but usually the best. I will not eat meatloaf, turkey, steak or hamburger meals. They not only do not taste good but looks nothing like those pictures. Soups I have tried are mushy. Cooked carrots I paid $10 for in Ohio overcharged for less than a quart to go. I will never do that again. So far all em... View all feedback.
The food here is always pretty good, but the service is iffy sometimes as it seems they are understaffed. The atmosphere is not something to write home about, but I would consider it good to the extent that all Bob Evans are. If you order a steak, it will probably always be more done than you want. I asked for a medium-rare and got closer to medium-well; not inedible, but not what I exactly wanted. The steak and eggs was still very good though.
DO NOT GO HERE. My 12yr old son and I were seated for over 15 minutes before a waitress finally served us. An elderly couple gets seated next to us and immediately gets there order taken, we were about to walk out and leave until a different waitress noticed we were being ignored and came and took our order. Then waited 45 minutes for our food. The old couple next to us got there food fast and received much better customer service. My son and I were wearing nice clothes, I just don't understand why we were treated bad. And I'm one of those people that actually tip very well had I received good service. I will never come back and will be telling all my friends and family to never come to this terrible business. There seemed to be no Manager on duty to even talk to.
The staff did an excellent job of keeping people moving in and out. We were here on Mother's Day with a party of 6 and didn't have to wait near as long as we had anticipated. Food was good and our waitress was fantastic.

My husband and I experienced a delicious meal, and our server was very attentive and polite. The banana bread caught our eye on the way out, so we've been enjoying that for the last few days. We will be back when we return to West Virginia! Wish MN had Bob Evans restaurants!
