Fantastic. Just what you're looking for in Shabu. Little Saki selection, but they have all the färgers. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff is from the front to the kitchen. 11/10 Shabu experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tabu Shabu:
what a waste of time, about price and little food. everyone sits on a bar, couldn't hear. it is not the place to sit and enjoy all the company. they cook their own eating in a broth. $25-30 for 4 -6 ounces of meat, a little bit sweet and a little bit of rice yuppie heaven. and they work to eat throughout the meal. the staff was great, the places were very clean, but you couldn't pull me back there. Fantastic! This is exactly what you’re looking for in a Shabu restaurant. Their sake selection is a bit limited, but they have all the essentials. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff, from the front to the kitchen, was excellent. Overall, I would rate this Shabu experience a perfect 11/10!
What a disappointment! The prices are high for such small portions of food. Everyone is seated at the bar, making it hard to hear anything. It's not a great atmosphere for enjoying good company. The food is cooked in a broth, and you get just 4-6 ounces of meat for $25-$30, along with a bit of sweet and a small serving of rice—definitely a yuppie paradise. Plus, it feels like you're constantly working to eat your meal. On the positive side, the staff was excellent and the place was very clean, but I wouldn't return.
The waitress was incredibly kind and took the time to explain how Shabu works. We took her recommendations for the dishes, and our meal turned out to be delicious. The meat and vegetables were fresh. We will definitely be returning soon!
I was obsessed with tabu shabu when I discovered it in carlsbad, went back 3x on this mini trick. there is something about the fresh of eating shabu shabu (hot pot) that is so satisfying. then tabu shabu takes an additional step, they turn their rest into an Asian risotto. creamy, tasty and mouthwatering good. service was great at this location in the hunting ton harbour in an outdoor shot by trader Joe?s. they play upbeat music, keep the room sanitary and comfortable, they sit parties in pods, constant attention given with additional spices, servier equipment, monitoring their broth, super hot sauce drops in their diving sauce on request, etc. we have the grass fed prime bark regular size and tonkotsu broth or spicy miso ton. bountiful set of fresh vegetables that they can choose to customize, my daughter got only brokkoli, spinat and tofu. my teenage nephew has inhaled his first round bark meat, so we got him another bark meat. it's a lot to eat, so I always have a lot of rest. they take their left broth, add tears, add more broth and over until it thickens. then add an ice cream and chili garlic sauce and other delicious causes, and sesame seeds. omg. it is so good that I dream of eating it. highly recommended!
Good but not really doing anything unique for the price they are charging. For shabu, at this price, should be better and higher quality. This is all you can eat pricing for average quality. Staff was great.
