Sugar Shack Cafe - Huntington Beach

The menu may be limited, but the food is excellent. It’s situated in a great spot on Main Street, just steps away from the beach.

This morning, we had the pleasure of being served by Ryan, who I believe is the owner or manager. He was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. His wife, whose name I regretfully didn’t catch, continued the service this morning, and she was just as wonderful—very friendly, welcoming, and attentive with coffee refills and everything else. Now, let’s talk about the food—it was EXCELLENT! You might think, how excited can someone be about breakfast? But it really was wonderful. The coffee was delicious, the bacon was perfectly crispy, the eggs were fluffy, and the hash browns were particularly great, crispy but not greasy at all. And the Eggs Benedict I had on our second day was out of this world! Usually, I’ve never had an Eggs Benedict served hot at any restaurant, but here it arrived piping hot! The Hollandaise sauce was smooth and not overly lemony, and the ham was delightful as well. The English muffin was just right—everything came together to make the perfect Eggs Benedict. Additionally, and this is a big plus for my wife and me, they open at 6 AM! I also loved the ambiance, with surf photos adorning the walls; it's small yet comfortable inside. Plus, there’s an option to dine outside if you prefer. Overall, this is exactly the kind of breakfast experience I look for, and I’m thrilled to support this business and highly recommend it to others!

I love having breakfast here! The food is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly. It's conveniently located just down the street from the pier. However, parking can sometimes be a challenge if you’re not close enough.
