I am always delighted when I come here! This was my first time at the new location, I love the bigger seating area inside and they still offer outdoor seating as well. The food is fresh and delicious, add a smoothie to your breakfast for an extra kickstart for the day. I tried the Avocado toast and a smoothie for the win!!! I Secret Spot ?? View all feedback.
What Jeremy A doesn't like about Secret Spot:
I used to love this spot. I surf at Bolsa and Huntington regularly so this used to be my go to. But severely inflated prices, smaller portions, long waits and poor service have made it impossible to return. The bad service yesterday was it for me. Good Customer service can go a long way when you are understaffed in these times. But she was rude for no reason and definitely did not want to be there. Insult to injury,... View all feedback.
The secret spot has updated and moved their store to a new location. The food is mostly plant- based with lots of vegan ? and vegetarian ? items. For breakfast the pancakes are great. We loved the blueberry mango pancakes ?The breakfast burritos ? are good with lots of choices. The salads ? are tasty, particularly the blackberry salad.Good sandwiches, tacos and burritos. We loved the Korean taco ?!The customer service is great- they moved non-stop and were very helpful.Enjoy every healthy bite.

Awful, I got a chicken sandwich and they must have forgotten to put any condiments on it. Also, the chicken was very dry and almost not edible.
I tried Secret Spot for the first time with my husband and our experience was subpar to say the least. Customer Service: The cashier was blunt and nonchalant, it really seemed like she didn't want to be there. She took our orders with a seemingly unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude, and we went ahead and seated ourselves. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, until other customers rolled in. Seeing as we were the only POC there, her service towards White customers appeared to be much more friendly, whereas she couldn't even crack a smile at us or say thank you when taking our order (just an observation). Food: We ordered the HB Surround Sound Burrito and the Turkey Avocado Swiss Sandwich with Bacon. Both entrees came with chips and salsa, which were alright. The salsa was watered down and tasted bitter for some reason? On the flip side, our food didn't take too long to come out, around 15 minutes or so. The food wasn't bad, but certainly nothing to rave about. Ambience: I thought the decorations and tables gave off a very unique and laid-back aesthetic, which was a nice change of scenery from your typical brunch spot. It was pretty empty when we came in for lunch, as we were the only ones dining in, but customers would roll in occasionally for take out. Overall, the average food and underwhelming customer service made this place a spot for us to avoid when searching through lunch options. I would've given back a star or two had the cashier provided at least average service, but clearly that wasn't the case. Personally, I would spend the money elsewhere on a place that has at least good food and decent service.
Cute breakfast spot with a ton of options for all food sensitivities! Order at the front and select your own seats. Breakfast burrito #4 (with soyrizo) was an all around favorite 9/10. The tuna melt was an 8/10. The kind of blue smoothie with peanut butter was fresh 8/10.
