Mangia-mangia - Huntington Beach

Prepare to wait about 20 to 25 minutes when you eat on Friday night. This restaurant is a local favorite in Huntington Beach. We had no reservation, so if we went at 6:30, we only have to wait 25 minutes. The host and the server were polite and prompt. Food tasted okay. My husband liked the free garlic bread. Spaghetti bolognese was good, but the Calamari fritti was a bit chewing. Overall, it is a local restaurant and our stomach were full of good food.

The best Italian food I ever tasted! So fresh, homemade, even the noodles! The Chicken Alfredo, Lasagne and Spaghetti are the best! Best-rated customer service! My family comes weekly!

I love Italian food but never a chance to try it because my friend always cooked food at home LOL . We went out to eat this restaurant from his recommendation because he has eaten 100x here! 1. Fatuccine Grabriella (4/5): this dish was WONDERFUL!! I always love mushrooms with my pasta so that I can get it naturally. The dish was quite heavy on cream so it fill your stomach QUICKLY! So share with someone if you want to save your belly. 2 Seafood Pasta (3/5): This dish was quite attractive, but the seafood was a bit dry and didn't seem fresh? However, the sauce was really good and I would get it back! 3. Lasagna (3/5): This dish was filled with LOTS cheese, which was something to exaggerate for me. Although I love lasagna, I don't like my lasagna EXTRA check because it really feels dizzy (LOL IDK WHY) service: I have no words that servers really delivered an excellent job in this restaurant. They came to check for me all the time and were ready to get extra stuff for the table. Your GIVE FREE GARLIC BREAD!!! A PLUS to my heart because who doesn't love bread!

I got a late lunch with my family today. The food is so good! I'm vegan and I could eat vegan family with my mother. I asked for bread without garlic and butter and ordered the Auberginen-Besorger. For my main meal I got the gnocchi napoletana without cheese and add asparagus. The server was very friendly to our orders and super friendly. The food tasted fresh and made with love. Very recommended to come here if you want authentic Italian cuisine. We met the new owner as well as he came up and asked how we do. What a friendly and helpful man! I love it when an owner is involved in the business, it shows that they really care about customer service and customer experience.

We have been coming to Mangia for over 20 years, it is always excellent,, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
