Grater Grilled Cheese

The food was fantastic! Both the Chicken Pesto and the Chicken Cordon Bleu grilled cheese were incredible! The fries were excellent too. My daughter really enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area!

It's a tiny little shop but you can see the ocean from outside the front door.Don't sit inside unless you're comfortable with being in close quarters.The drink straws are environmentally friendly tiny, but the sodas taste good (I didn't recognize the brand).I intentionally ordered a plain GC with tomato soup so I could taste the cheese and I wasn't that impressed but maybe I'll try specifying my cheese next time (I like extra sharp cheddar or a nice gruyere).I don't think they use real butter on the bread.Don't be shocked at the prices, they next door to the pier.This is the first time I've been to 5th Street since they remodeled the block and I live about 3 miles just down the road (literally)Parking: Park on one of the cross streets away from Main street and not on 5th.

Was looking forward to going here after discovering them on Yelp and saw the mouth-watering pictures. I decided to try out the HB location on Sunday. When I got there, the door was open but when I entered, the cashier told me the place was closed and the chairs were already stacked on top of the tables. This was well BEFORE 4:00pm. The stated closing time was 7:00pm so why was it closed so early? Please update your hours on Yelp, Google, and the front doors if you are going to close before the stated hours.

There was a girl in a bra standing behind the counter texting. There was no one completing orders in the kitchen. 9 people waiting ahead of me no food coming out. I left after waiting a while.Food: 1/5

We stopped here for lunch on our way to San Diego, and I must say, the grilled cheese sandwiches were absolutely delicious! I ordered the pesto chicken grilled cheese, and it was the best grilled cheese I've ever tasted. My son enjoyed his grilled cheese just as much. The portions were generous too. The owner was incredibly friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience!
