BLK offers delicious food, a fantastic view, and excellent service. The menu boasts a wide variety, including small plates, burgers, and fish. Everything we tried was outstanding. My only concern with BLK is the noise level; it can get quite loud at times due to the hard surfaces, making it less cozy or romantic than one might hope for. However, overall, it's a great restaurant in HB. View all feedback.
What Nya Kozey doesn't like about Blk Earth Sea Spirits:
We really enjoyed this place during our previous visit when it was called Spark. The new decor is nice and the service was good. However, we found the prices for the entrees to be ridiculous—$30 for a thin piece of halibut served on a wooden plank without any sides like sweet potatoes, rice, or salad. Just the fish on a plate, which definitely wasn't worth that price. It has always been a bit pricey, but we were quit... View all feedback.
Blk offers delicious food, stunning views, and excellent service. The menu features a wide variety of options, including small plates, burgers, and fish. Everything we tried was outstanding. However, I did find some drawbacks: the acoustics can be a bit troublesome and sometimes too loud due to the hard surfaces, which makes it less cozy and romantic than I would have hoped. Despite that, it’s still a great restaurant overall.
I like crowd, good eating, fun place, great outsight on hb, the phrase energetic for noise, I would say wrong, it is very loud, not a quiet, romantic place at all, especially since the bar is right next to the main dining area. we had difficulty hearing the server and each other, it was a Saturday night, very busy and packed. we are local, so we understand. a thing that annoyed me was that a kerl smoked a zigarre in the courtyard, right in front of the dining room that opened doors, so that no possibility to avoid the smell. I don't understand why someone would smoke a cigar near people. I don't know what politics is in smoking, they were out, near the people who eat.
For the price must be more consistent. great location so great eating will rock this place.

Just the fish on a plate, which definitely wasn't worth that price. It has always been a bit pricey, but we were quite disappointed with the value based on the praise we've heard. Even the burgers are $18 for just one, and no burger is worth that much. We love the location and would like to return, but only if there’s better value for the money.
My husband and I visit this restaurant frequently, and it never disappoints. It's one of our favorite places in Huntington Beach.
