The vegetarian options are fantastic and far from standard, while the wine list perfectly complements the high standard of cooking. The service is impeccable, making for faultless dining experience. Despite being slightly overpriced, the food is delicious and the portions generous. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, great selection of drinks, and friendly staff. Whether for a special occasion or a casual meet-up with friends and family, The Pheasant is a top choice in the area for good food and wine.
We hadn't been out to The Pheasant for a couple of years but pleased to say we weren't disappointed and it was as good as ever. Great food, great service, and lovely surroundings both inside and outside. A great way to spend our Wedding Anniversary.
Lovely main meal but service was poor. Staff should invest in the use of note pads to assist them !
Great food, good beer and wine. Watch out for the starter portion sizes which are generous which left no real room for dessert. Though we shared a couple between us anyway as they sounded, and tasted, great too!
We have been eating at the Pheasant for many years now. As usual Sunday lunch was excellent. We are moving to Norfolk now but very much hope to visit again when in the area.
We stopped by for tea and scones yesterday and it was such a pleasure.
