Hucks - Huntingburg

Huck's is a gas station and convenience store conveniently located right off two major highways in town, making it easy to access the parking lot. I use the Huck's Now app on my Android phone, which helps me save between 3 to 10 cents per gallon of gas. They frequently have additional promotions like free soft drinks, discounts on groceries, and deals on items from the hot bar. This particular location features a Godfather's Pizza, allowing you to call ahead for dinner or a quick snack on the go. Huck's is open 24 hours, which is great for travelers needing gas, an ATM, or even cigarettes if you're in a pinch. The public restrooms were clean during my visit, so I assume they are usually well-maintained.

I adopted a stray cat from under the dumpster behind this Huck's about seven years ago. It was the best cat I've ever had. I would definitely do it again—5 out of 5!

This gas station is fairly average. The prices are roughly what you'd expect for the area, but its location is quite convenient.

The coffee station at this location is consistently dirty, and there's often no cream available in the dispenser. On weekends, you can expect the coffee pots to be empty as well. Additionally, after 9 PM, there is a lot of loitering and drug-related activity. This has been the worst Hucks I've encountered, and it really needs new management!

Most of the employees are very friendly and always assist me with whatever I need when I visit, but I can never reach the store by phone. I prefer to place my orders over the phone, so I end up having to go there in person, place my order, and wait for it, which is something that should be improved. However, there's one particular employee who displays a lack of professionalism; she frequently speaks negatively about her coworkers, spends time outside talking to friends while she's supposed to be working, and is often seen on her phone, which is distracting. Fortunately, the rest of the staff works hard and is dedicated.
