La Unica Mexican Huntersville

Came here by random attitude and made happy, complete, and with a ting of regret I did not buy something to go. I have a wonderful vegetarian lunch. The Bean Burrito, Cheese Enchilada Rice Dinner, that was great. The Enchilada was phenomenal and the Burrito was also good. I must say I appreciate your menu with a certain vegetarian section and offer some wonderful options. The service was fast and atmosphere was picturesque but pleasant. Unfortunately, I was a quick lunch before a meeting so I was able to stay longer and try more things. The salsa tasted like it might have added a chipotle or chili powder to it, which seemed like the tomatoes and jalapeño taste. So possibly a small adjustment to the salsa so that the natural flavors come, though would be brilliant The less I have eaten a basket of chips and my salsa almost entirely alone. So you came to order something because you won? Plus the fast services means that you can get on and off a working day.

Food was good and quick. We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress was attentive. The only thing I didn't care for was the host or manager told us we could not move the kids from our cramped table to a booth behind us after the dinner rush was over. It was 9pm and we were chatting after we ate, the kids were just wanting to watch videos and hang out a bit with each other.

Food was great! SERVICE sucked! We watched our waiter come back with a pitcher of iced tea from another table and PUT IT BACK in the ice tea dispenser!!! We sat here waiting for menus for 30 mins and then when we asked for the bill we got it with food on it as seen in the pictures smh!! Server was Ubaldo

My main dish, the Mexican lunch burrito, was good but small. The chips were greasy, broken, and some were rancid. The waitress was not very friendly.

My husband and I wanted to get a quick dinner in before welcoming baby number 8. So we decided to try La Unica since we haven't tried them yet....it looked like the parking lot was full so we thought we would have a little waiting time but got a table right away. The server automatically bring you chips and salsa which was so tasty. We ended up ordering bean dip with cheese, steak and cheese burrito for me and a chimichanga for my husband. Everything tasted so fresh! The sliced lettuce for the first time at any restaurant wasn't soggy or watered down like other places. The service was great. Our waitress made sure we had everything needed. I highly recommend this place. Who doesn't like fresh authentic Mexican food!!!
