the lifeboat inn has a lot of space. there are bar, winter garden and restaurant and atmospheric corners to sit and rest after the walk along the beach. the personal is friendly. we ordered vegan butternut Squash/Pea risotto, that was good and vegan basilikum gniocchi that was delicious. What David Tipler doesn't like about The Lifeboat Inn:
Used to go to the Lifeboat regularly years ago and always enjoyed our visit. However, like many places along the North Norfolk Coast, they've got overpriced for average fare..... perhaps the Chelsea Tractor brigade like it that way. View all feedback.

A beautiful place to eat, with great vegan options on a separate vegan menu. definitely worth a visit!
We chose from the vegan menu and enjoyed the ratatouille and the main dish super food salad. the ratatouille was great, but the superfood salad was not very hard. it had only a few spoons of quinoa.
The lifeboat inn is a first-class pub, restaurant and hotel and the reservation is especially advisable when this popular corner from north norfolk filled with hiking and other tourist. Note that the lifeboat now has a complete vegan menu with conceivable options for starters, nets and desserts. several non-vegans from our group chose from the vegan menu and were not disappointed, especially by the roasted gnocchi. updated from the previous review on 2018-12-31
We came to this pub after a good walk around the dunes to the beach and back. The pub is in a lovely setting; it’s dog friendly, and they have a full 3 course vegan menu, including multiple choices for each course. It was great to see a restaurant in this area trying something a bit different. The starters and desserts were both delicious, and the mains we had (a sweet potato and squash crumble) were good, if not quite as good as the rest.
