Spoons and bowls without handles were stored in food items that had not been removed or cleaned the night before. To make matters worse, several food-contact items, such as scissors and knives, were found in a drawer near the three-bay sink, which showed evidence of dried food and even live cockroaches, posing a serious risk to food safety.

As for parking, there’s ample space available right by the diner, plus a large parking lot that used to belong to an old Kmart—there's even room for RVs. It was also kid-friendly; I shared most of my food with my granddaughters.

Just a note about parking: it can be a bit difficult to find a spot due to ongoing construction.

The booths were quite comfortab... read more It’s been a while since we stopped by for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the diner had been renovated. The booths were quite comfortable, and I didn’t even need my back cushion. Everything was clean, from the diners to the tables. Our order was taken promptly, and the service was impressively quick. Our server actually prepared my omelet twice before bringing it to our table because I had requested cheddar cheese instead of American. The food was served hot—my omelet was made with cheddar, while my companion's was a bacon and cheese. Both came with perfectly cooked hash browns. The coffee was good, too. As you enter, there is a simple view of the bakery case. Though the outdoor seating area with tables could use some improvement, we noticed that the quality of the food has definitely improved since our last visit. We’ll definitely be coming back for lunch and dinner. There's also convenient parking and a ramp available.

Brea... read more True diner atmosphere and experience. The desserts look absolutely delicious, unfortunately it was breakfast time and we just didn't have room to try them. Breakfast was very good. The eggs we also ordered came with a very thick piece of Canadian bacon. Very friendly staff and prices are reasonable. Best homemade macaroni from any restaurant I've ever had. If you order it as a page, it is extremely large and something you can easily share with four people. You have no more waffles in the menu.
