Cocoa Diner - Feedback

Was Charlene Kuhic at Cocoa Diner a mag?
The food was delicious, and the service was satisfactory. The waiter could have been a bit more attentive, but it wasn't a major issue. Our order arrived at the table in under ten minutes, which was impressive. Overall, it was a positive experience, although we did have to wait a few minutes for a table. View all feedback.
What ERIN MCANDREW dislikes about Cocoa Diner:
Starting with just five words .....5 words: Do not waste your money! The food is absolutely terrible and the service is not much better. Our first clue should have been that 80 of the seating at the Cocoa Diner was vacant even though it 's in a prime location in Hershey, Pennsylvania. View all feedback.

Furthermore, a manual can opener situated across from the three-bay sink had a significant buildup of dried food on both its blade and the mounting. Spoons and bowls without handles were stored in food items that had not been removed or cleaned the night before. To make matters worse, several food-contact items, such as scissors and knives, were found in a drawer near the three-bay sink, which showed evidence of dried food and even live cockroaches, posing a serious risk to food safety.
I had a fantastic breakfast with plenty of delicious options, and the waitress was incredibly accommodating. As for parking, there’s ample space available right by the diner, plus a large parking lot that used to belong to an old Kmart—there's even room for RVs. It was also kid-friendly; I shared most of my food with my granddaughters.
Classic Greek diner with a wide variety of delicious options. The cake and dessert display was impressive—I wanted to try them all! I had the Greek salad, which was both tasty and generously portioned. My partner ordered the cocoa omelette with crabmeat and Hollandaise sauce, and it was absolutely amazing! Just a note about parking: it can be a bit difficult to find a spot due to ongoing construction.
I had the Cocoa grill omelete, and it was delicious! I honestly forgot to take a photo because I was too busy eating! Very good!!!
We have been here several times while in the area. The food is good, comes out fast and the staff is great.
**Cocoa Diner: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Located in the heart of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Cocoa Diner presents a diverse dining experience that leaves patrons split. Guests can enjoy a classic diner atmosphere with a menu ranging from breakfast staples to generous Greek salads. While many praise the quick service and delicious omelettes—particularly the crabmeat version topped with Hollandaise sauce—others express dissatisfaction, citing issues with cold food and unfriendly service. The diner has seen recent renovations, enhancing its appeal. Overall, diners should be prepared for a hit-or-miss experience, where both quality and service can vary significantly.

It’s been a while since we stopped by for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the diner had been renovated. The booths were quite comfortable, and I didn’t even need my back cushion. Everything was clean, from the diners to the tables. Our order was taken promptly, and the service was impressively quick. Our server actually prepared my omelet twice before bringing it to our table because I had requested cheddar cheese instead of American. The food was served hot—my omelet was made with cheddar, while my companion's was a bacon and cheese. Both came with perfectly cooked hash browns. The coffee was good, too. As you enter, there is a simple view of the bakery case. Though the outdoor seating area with tables could use some improvement, we noticed that the quality of the food has definitely improved since our last visit. We’ll definitely be coming back for lunch and dinner. There's also convenient parking and a ramp available.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at this restaurant, and the staff was incredibly helpful! They offered great recommendations for their favorite dishes and were very friendly. I opted for the Cocoa Grill Omelette, which was delicious—filled with three eggs, broccoli, and crab meat, topped with a rich Hollandaise sauce!
True diner atmosphere and experience. The desserts look absolutely delicious, unfortunately it was breakfast time and we just didn't have room to try them. Breakfast was very good. The eggs we also ordered came with a very thick piece of Canadian bacon. Very friendly staff and prices are reasonable. Best homemade macaroni from any restaurant I've ever had. If you order it as a page, it is extremely large and something you can easily share with four people. You have no more waffles in the menu.
Food was good. Nice selection and friendly customer service!
