What User doesn't like about Monterey's Little Mexico:
Don't order any fajita platter. For 27 dollars all I got was 4 little strip of beef , 4 little strip of chicken it came with 5 little shrimp. Not enough food for the cost View all feedback.
This restaurant has undergone significant changes since my last visit. Unfortunately, when we went, there was only one server managing 6-7 tables, which meant her attention was divided. Despite this, she did her best, and we made sure to tip her generously for her hard work. The most disappointing part of the experience was the quality of the food. It simply isn’t what it used to be. The portion sizes for the meat have shrunk, while prices have gone up. I'm unsure if they have changed suppliers or altered their ordering methods, but the flavors were not as vibrant as before. It might also be an issue with the way the food is prepared. Since this has always been one of my favorite places to dine in Humble, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt this time.
Our waitress was fantastic! She was attentive, courteous, and friendly, which made our experience at Little Mexico really enjoyable.
This restaurant is similar to Taco Cabana. I'm not suggesting it's poor quality—it's actually quite enjoyable—but it has more of a fast-food vibe. My cheese enchilada was slightly cold, but other than that, we were pleased with our meals. The quesadillas were fantastic, and I’ll definitely order those again next time. It's a great place for lunch with friendly service!
My daughter really enjoys this restaurant. She thinks the food is fantastic, while I find it just average. However, I do really like the cilantro dip, and their tortilla chips are quite tasty.
I visited this restaurant looking forward to enjoying a taste of Monterrey, but unfortunately, the food didn't seem authentic. The rice tasted like it was leftover and not freshly prepared, the mini corn dogs contained undercooked Vienna sausages, and the tacos al carbon came with very little lettuce, mostly buried under a pile of shredded cheese. I won't be coming back! On a positive note, the staff was friendly; it was just the food that fell short of our expectations.
