Pretty fantastic. People are helpful and attentive. Organized and clean. Barbacoa was fine (needed to better trimmed, very hard). Aguas fresas were great. Good process when you're busy. Everything was moving fast. Will be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Michoacana Meat Market:
Worst customer service ever! A lady in the Taqueria took our order and we waited for our food for 6tacos and a plate over 20min. And 10 other people after us saved food from us! No longer worth coming back here View all feedback.
They have good barbacoa and good marinated meat ready for grill. her brot is also good if she?re not in the mood to go through the city to el bolillo, ojarasca or arandas bakery. even if I'm a bolillo that speaks Spanish, the staff is usually bilingual if they don't?
This is a Mexican meat market and bakery. They sale Mexican food already made. They sale products from Mexico like sodas, chips personal items soaps, foods, candy, medicine and other items some people might recognize if they from a Hispanic culture. The meat is always fresh here and they are curtious enough to ask if you want the meat cut a certain way. I have gone to several michoacana store in Houston but they are not all the same. Here the bread is made fresh too. Every time i go they are almost run out by the end of the night. And it is never hard bread. The sweet bread and bolillo is so good tasting and soft. The veggies are also fresh. The staff is also polite. They have also been making sure everyone wears a mask inside. Real plus right now.
If you have never been here or have driven by thinking man I wonder they have in there. You need to stop in already. The meat here is amazing. Some if the best fajitas ever. The meat is always flavorful and tender. They have an amazing selection of everything you can think of. The steam table provides amazing food and a great price. The tacos here are top notch. We have gone several times and have never been disappointed. The sweet breads are fresh and tasty. Stop by already and see what you are missing.
I shop here roughly once or twice a week. As far as I was able to tell everyone here is bilingual, so you don't have to worry about if you don't speak Spanish. But if you don't speak Spanish, that's your business. This grocery store offers a selection of products from all over the Americas! If you are looking for food items from countries like Honduras and especially Mexico this is where you need to go. Yes, they have plantains, pan dulce, and carnes. La Michoacana has a big meat section in the back. The marinated meats are great tasting items for grilling. I've been getting the marinated chicken drumsticks for $0.99/pound, $0.79 for plain. They? also have a bakery if you're into fresh or sweet breads. The bakery is sufficient to get you setup for a good coffee or tea session. The store always looks clean and organized. Never had a bad experience here and the people who work here are genuinely nice, never fake nice. Bonus: this has to do more with the location of the store and not the store itself. It's right next to a Kung Fu Studio Need I say more?
Terrible customer service! A woman at the taqueria took our order, and we waited over 20 minutes for our food—6 tacos and a plate. Meanwhile, 10 other people who ordered after us received their meals before us! It’s definitely not worth returning here.
