Union Mash-up - Hull
Union Mash-up
Description
Nestled like a repurposed vintage emporium, this intimate bar doubles as a beloved small-performance venue and affordable private-event space. Guests praise its quirky décor, warm welcoming vibe, craft and continental beers, and a dependable sound system ideal for open-mic nights and birthday hires. The upstairs private room and accommodating staff simplify parties, though the venue can feel cramped, ventilation and restroom layouts are imperfect, and service/professionalism have occasionally been inconsistent.

I had my 60. Birthday party here. Brilliant place, very cooled quirky. Great value, good sound system really friendly barmann. I used earlier because it would definitely be used locally for me again
Legendary performance spot, very cramped and badly ventilated, but this is how a good venue should be, it should test the performer and the audience and put pressure on them to deliver something unusual; the guy who employs the bar earns credit for the duration of our marathon performances; the toilets are uneven imagination
Had a private visit upstairs. Beautiful small room with a decent sound system. There was a possibility for them to provide a buffet, but they let us provide our own without any problems.
The owner was very rude and uncaring/unprofessional when it came to customer safety, made some of the people very uncomfortable and upset with the way they were treated in certain situations. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
