Located just 7.8 miles northeast of Hull city center in New Ellerby, the Railway Inn is the perfect spot to stay for businessmen working on the windfarm project. Situated next to the old Hull Hornsea railway line, this pub offers delicious pub food at great value. Serving lunch and dinner in the bar area, one of their specialties is a homemade meat pie that has been passed down through three generations of the landlady's family. The Railway Inn also features three spacious and comfortable bedrooms, including a double en-suite room, a twin room, and a single room with a shared bathroom. Guests can also relax in the shared fully equipped kitchen lounge area, and enjoy the outdoor decked area with a large plasma TV. Free WiFi and ample parking are available, even for larger vehicles.

The service at The Railway was outstanding. We had a lovely meal at a table by the fire, and each of us ordered a pie. I chose the steak pie, which was absolutely delicious, served piping hot, and quite substantial! Overall, it was a genuinely wonderful experience.

I had a fantastic experience during my visit. We ordered an omelette and chicken curry, both of which were outstanding. The food here is consistently amazing. It's a charming pub with delicious options. I would highly recommend it!
