Papa Murphy's Take 'n' Bake Pizza

I visited on Sunday morning to grab some pizza for the Vikings game, but they didn’t have any garlic bread available. I was told it would take 45 minutes to make some. The staff didn’t seem concerned about the situation at all. I ended up going to the pizza place next door instead.

It’s Tuesday and I was under the impression that the crustless pizzas were priced at $10.99. I tried to place my order online, intending to pay for it. The website stated that crustless pizzas were indeed $10.99, but when I arrived to pick up my order, I was charged $17.50! The cashier informed me that these pizzas were not part of the Tuesday special. I went back with my receipt to discuss the issue with the owner who reiterated the same. After I insisted and showed him the online price of $10.99, I was offered a refund, but the whole situation felt quite sketchy to me. I decided to call another location and confirmed that, as I suspected, crustless pizzas are included in the Tuesday special.

Always excellent with fantastic service; I can't think of a single complaint, and I order here at least once a week.

There seems to be an issue with the pizza about half the time, and it rises to 80% when we customize our orders. Either the pizza is incorrect or it’s missing ingredients; for instance, the last time we ordered, they used the wrong type of sauce. We typically order online, so it might be a problem with how they read our requests, as the order slip attached to the box is always accurate.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners at the Hugo location, and he was incredibly friendly. It’s always refreshing to see owners actively working at their own establishments! The pizza was fantastic, and the service was outstanding today!
