What jelly canady doesn't like about La Petite Taverne:
we had dinner there 2times during our stay, silmply because we really enjoyed the 1st time. however the 2nd time there was no attention(cheese fondue kept on switching off but nobody had enthusiasm to fix it with a friendly face), ventilation (people around were cooking on the stone which was really smelly to the point that our underwear was smelling like charcoal).. the cherry on the top was the digestive of genepee... Excellent address, very good reception, a high price ratio excellent as the service and smile of the manager and her daughter. I recommend this restaurant even if it is not easy to find it (a sign on the balcony barrier would help. the table of the 10 bikers all combined.
Finally! What a pleasure to finally find his favorite restaurant with his friendly owner, his welcoming and attentive staff, his daily menus and his homely specialties with always fresh products. the happiness of restoring in a good atmosphere and a nice setting has no equivalent, especially since the value for money is perfect. To add to our happiness the sun was present from morning to evening throughout our stay. I only think about my next stay at Alpe d’Huez to enjoy the mountain and the tavern’s tavern moments.
The restaurant was simply excellent. the waitress was adorable (and bilingual I took a tempered beef and this one was excellent, just like the fries. Kiss!
