Pre booked a table for family who were visiting, 8 people (6 adults 2 young kids), for Sunday evening. Table was reserved for 8 pm. Arrived at 7.50 and doors were closed and staff were inside sweeping up. Young girl came out and said they closed at 7 pm as they had a problem with the chef. I asked why nobody had phoned me to inform me and they just shrugged their shoulders. They had my name and phone number. Very annoyed as we were left with no alternative on a Sunday night. Spoke to owner who happened to be at the cash point and he just said they had a problem with the kitchen! Again asked why they didn't phone me when they had the problem and he said they didn't have my number although I watched them write my name and phone number down when I booked on the previous Thursday. Won't be going back.

The food when it arrived... read more Initial 20min wait for order to be taken and another 20mins for drinks to arrive (despite speaking to staff on a number of occasions). The food when it arrived was distinctly average. The staff were unhelpful and appeared to be more interested in chatting than working. The no smoking areas were also nothing of the sort. There are better restaurants in the area with much better offerings. Avoid this place and spend your money somewhere that is more welcoming and friendly.
