Every time we visit, the food is freshly prepared and of excellent quality. We can always count on both the food and service to be reliable. There are great options for vegetarians as well. Overall, I give the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

I stopped by for lunch and decided to try the fish and chips from the day menu. While there were plenty of chips and peas, the fish left much to be desired. The batter was smooth rather than crispy, and it tasted frozen. I've dined here before and had an acceptable experience, but this visit was disappointing. Price per person: £10–20. Food rating: 2 out of 5.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely roast dinner this evening served by excellent and cheery staff. The traditional pub food was very plentiful and the meat and vegetables were of good quality and cooked perfectly and served hot. It's been a while since we've visited the blacksmith's Arms but we will definitely be returning at some point in the future to further sample their menu. Thank you. Parking: Parking is plentiful.
