What Tony Myles doesn't like about Ihop:
The food ok steak omelet was fine steak was just a little chewy and the pancakes were kinda tuff struggled to cut with fork. But the service was good, got us seated very quickly, and food came out fast. Would I go back yes if I wanted a late View all feedback.
Kala is fabulous! She is very inattentive and welcoming. She truly turned the horrible start back into an enjoyable experience. However if you want to be sat in a timely manner I would go someplace else. Host told us it would be a 15-20 min wait, waited 50 mins for our table. It was understandable that the wait could have been longer (I have worked as a host before and know the struggles) but to see someone a friend of the host come in and be sat in 10 mins and skip the line was very frustrating. Also a more accurate time of waiting would have been appreciated. Knowing I had to wait 45 min to 1 hour would not have scared me away if I knew I was going to get good service and good food but being told 15-20 min really just sets everyone up for disappointment. Food was good servers are great but the seating situation needs to be worked on.
We drive by 2 other IHOPS to go to this one because they are always consistent and the best .
Short of help was our only concern other than that everything was delicious ??
The food was good. They are understaffed. But I will go back because the food was good.
Service was slow anf they added a 5.00 tip to me bill that I did not authorize.
