I think I had dinner here like 5 times during my 8 days in Huaraz...best lomo in town!I tried every "lomo" dish they had, with barbecue sauce, pepper flavored, with mushrooms... everything is cooked on the barbecue you can see from the street. It costs a little bit more than other places in town but the service and the food is simply much better. An average cost for a dish with meat, salad and fries (or rice) as well... View all feedback.
We visited the restaurant twice during our stay in Huaraz cos we were impressed by the quality of food and warm hospitality! The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and our food was grilled for perfection! We had the Sirloin with mushroom sauce (soo juicy and delicious, grilled trout (must try!!!) and mixed spits. We also had pisco sour and freshly pressed fruit juice. Both times we left with very happy bitches. Thank you. They are a real jewel we believed in in huaraz in a rainy evening!
Hard to find, but to find the time! The owner is very friendly and charming. We follow their recommendation and tried the fish and beef from the grill. Portions are not too high quality comes over quantity! Very recommended.
Totally agree with the below reviews! The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the trout was delicious! My friends I had the trout, 1/8 chicken the brochetes. All were great, and the prices are incredibly cheap! We got less food and almost paid twice as much for lunch today! It's not 5 star dining, and the food may take a little longer than expected, but if you want to eat somewhere cheap, with great food and great hosts, this is the place! It's quite small, only 7 tables, so you may have to wait if it's busy! Also, a little hard to find, but the address is correct, if you go past Hotel Brits and the park is in front on you, walk about 100 meters past the park on De La Cruz Romero, just past Hotel Galaxia! Enjoy!
I had this meal 2 months ago and I can still taste how good it was. I think its only open for dinner. Stayed a week in huaraz and ate here 3 times. Chicken just kept getting better and better. So juicy! So local! Owner is a delight. Don't miss out.
