Recently I had the same dish and it was the same, dry. Carapulcra was fine and I noticed that prices were expensive, almost the same as a good restaurant in Lima. I hope. The curly pommes were a nice touch.
I've taken an early breakfast there with friends like a brunch really, and it was absolutely fantastic, with people you love and care, just talking and eating, There's nothing better. Highly recommended, good food and friendly service!!!
Went for a family event. I have to say I was very impressed by the level of quality and service! The food was amazing. I would recommend the crispy pork 'al palo '; it 's some of the best I 've had ever. Really, everything they have is good... typical Peruvian home cooking, well executed and seasoned to perfection. I think the reason behind why everything is so good is because it 's super fresh and his vendors give him first pick (talked to the owner). There are more established restaurants in the area, but this is a very good up and coming place where quality and flavors are paramount. Just go, it will not disappoint!
We were a big group of 15 and they could all sit in a big table. Everyone agreed that their chancho al palo y chancho a la caja china are the best. You will get a free traditional soup to begin and this is just the beginning of 2 Continuos hours of food. The best thing is that we rented a bus and it took 2 hours back to Lima and everyone took a nap.
Excellent food local Chancho al Palo and Chicharrones with coffee. Recommended very close to Lima 1H. Breakfast and lunch unique.
