Piggly Wiggly Coffee Shop Midlands

I unfortunately had a hair in my food . Management was more concerned as to when the hair was found , after the meal or before meal . Clearly the R80 is more important than thier customer satisfaction. They couldn't even be bothered to come to the table to apologize .

What can a person say that l am sure hasn 't already been said about this beautiful place on the Midlands Meander. It is in my opinion one of the nicest places to take family and friends to on the weekend for a lovely meal or to buy the odd ornament, clothing or jewelry item or work of art. As for their restaurant, you will be treated to not only a wonderful meal but the outdoor environment is clean, peaceful and not to mention beautiful. I highly recommend the Piggly Wiggly Coffee Shop and the cluster of other shops to visit on your next trip to the Meander. Do not forget to pop in at the Chocolate Shop for an absolute sweet tooth heaven delight. What a delightful venue to take your family for a lovely family time. Lots of delightful little shops an excellent restaurant and superb service. The visitors to the venue were very friendly and the venue is dog friendly, with a doggie menu on the restaurant main menu, we took lots of photos as the venue is very photogenic. We will return again some day for an outing and recommend the venue to all our friends looking for a delightful place to take the family to for an outing to be remembered.

UPDATE: The owner responded claiming the manager came to our table 3 times and apologized. This did not happen the manager checked on another table next to us a number of times which is why we knew she was the manager. The table next to us also had a some issue with their order, which was resolved. The manager only cleared a dish off our table. To be clear the waitron, who was very sweet, came to our table and we asked if she had taken our food to a manager or chef. She said she had. I asked if they tasted the food and they had not. She did say they had taken the item off our bill. My spouse was excited to share this spot with me, as they had been a number of times. What a disappointment! Only the downpour kept us there longer than we would have cared to stay. 1. Several items on the menu were not available 2. My food order was wrong, and when the correct food came, it was bland and missing an ingredient (Chicken Schnitzel Burger was supposed to have avocado. SEE PIC None and no mention it was not available. They did not make us pay for it, but I would have refused. 3. My partner's food was also bland, only helped by condiments. 4. Instead of dealing with the dissatisfaction, the manager completely ignored/avoided us. Was it because we're a queer couple, a bi racial couple or both that we were ignored? (tables adjacent to ours got plenty of attention Conclusion: We won't be back.

Great tasty food. Ordered large cappuccino which was gigantic. Wide variety of vegetarian options including side items. Great tasting chips and chickpea curry in coconut sauce served with rice and pappadum and tomato salsa.
