If you want good food to take to the beach (though you can eat in if you wish) this is a great option.

Parked on Shoreham docks for the night it's quicker to walk to Chippy chips in Hove than to a fish and chip shop in Shoreham. And well worth the walk it was. Fish is cooked to order (large cod and chips) so a 10 minute wait to have my tea on the seafront all worthwhile. One of the best fish and chips I've had in my life. A quick Google search and I found this place. A real down to earth fish and chip shop. No frills and superb quality product. All cooked to order. We had the medium haddock and chips.
