The Crab Station - Houston

That's one of my favorite places! The service is consistently outstanding! The young staff members are great. Whoever trained them did a fantastic job. The food is delicious and the drinks are tasty and reasonably priced.

I was very disappointed with both the service and the food. This used to be one of my favorite spots last year and in early this year. After moving to the southwest side, I returned twice and I must say that I won’t be coming back again. Both visits resulted in terrible food. I made a 45-minute drive only to be let down. My friend's wings were undercooked and my dish had a fishy taste, while the service was extremely slow. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills, and our food was poorly prepared with an odd flavor. I even communicated my concerns to the manager after I had paid, but he showed no signs of being concerned or bothered. It's really disappointing, especially because this used to be the go-to place for hot, perfectly cooked, delicious seafood. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. You will likely be very disappointed. They definitely need new management and servers. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Fresh ingredients and friendly service! The oysters here are well-prepared and not all shaken up like at some other places.

Wanted to try something new .... never again... ordered fried shrimps and puppies came with frys and hush puppies ... was ok ordered 6 cooked shrimps and 1 cluster of crabs 1 corn and 1 potato in bag 30.00 dollars can They say taxes for absolutely nothing. Lobset Pasta 26.00 for rubber lobster and so much garlic in everything... I didn't even want to eat my food with the taste of food. Bill was 101.00 for 2 compared to the meal we had the night before with drinks and dessert and 2 Entrées and shots were less today. The hush puppies tasted like sweet reddish cheese and were the size of a grape and so much bread on the fish and shrimp. Tea tasted like the bottom of the gallons as he sat. Could get seafood for 70.00 to 80.00 with better value and larger quantities and quality. For 3 people not only 2...

We had a great date night dining experience. My drinks from the bar were perfectly made LIT. Wife had Sprite that she didn't like. The Oysters were great. We ordered garlic bread which tasted great but it was the whole hoagie loaf. We suggested to the manager that they offer to cut it up before serving. We both chose to do the Mix n Match- I got double shrimp and she got catfish and shrimp. The shrimp were just okay. I didn't care for the batter but Wife said it was better on the fish and indeed it was! The shrimp tasted better when I ate it with bread so I think next time I'd go ahead and get a Po Boy. Neither of us really cared for the fries. I think they try to use the same seasoning for everything but it doesn't work well. Overall, the experience was pretty cool.
