Taco Planet - Houston

It's not easy finding a decent taco truck living in downtown area/ upper Kirby. At least not one that isn't some tending hipster over charging food truck for basic needs. I wanted tacos plain and simple and I found tacos plain and simple. Not too far from home not over priced and above all. They were really good. Staff is quick and it doesn't take away from the quality. It's street tacos. Don't expect to be wowed but they are damn decent. Even give you flour tortillas option. The quesadillas are nice and gorditas are soft and fluffy. The red and green sauce is on point with fire and flavor. My only gripe they don't do tripa meat. Other than that if you're looking for a taco truck that's always there. This is it. Even next to a liquor store and a small bar/ice house. Check them out.

This is one of my favorite spots for tacos. Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. When I used to work in the Galleria area, we often ordered takeout for the office, and everyone always loved the tacos. Their sauces are amazing, too. Whether you're in the area or not, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Not only are these the best street tacos in Houston, but they’re also among the best street tacos you'll find anywhere. Seriously. This food truck really knows how to deliver!

I’ve lived nearby but only tried these tacos for the first time today, and it was a big mistake to wait so long! The pastor tacos had an incredible and unique flavor that I absolutely loved. I also ended up in line with the owner, who was ordering some tacos for himself. He was a genuinely nice person with great energy. Food always tastes better when you have a personal connection, and this was no exception. Great job!
