Rey del Pollo - Houston

We always get it to go so all I can review on is food itself. We always get 2 chickens with rice, beans, and tortillas. The food is decently warm but the chicken could be cooked a bit more. We have gotten sick a few times after eating here and we think its because the chicken is still red and pink slightly. The taste is good and the price as well, so we still get it but now we put the chicken in the oven for an extra 20 min. Comes out perfect

I normally stop by this place when working in the area. Today was the worst day ever for me. The cashier was extremely rude!! She doesnt belong behind a register. I spoke and she didn't speak back. She had a frown on her face the whole time. I handed her my payment and she put my change on the counter for me to pick up. Food is okay, not great but okay. Just don't order online, they don't know anything about online ordering and you'll drive 20 minutes to pick up your food, get there and they tell you 30 more minutes. Food isn't good enough to wait that long. Go to Pollo Regio down the street it's much better food.Food: 1/5
